Andy Jepperson, 3rd Dan

Andy received his Black belt at the age of 12 years. He has been competing for more than twenty years as a black belt.

In addition to winning many local tournaments some of the highlights in Andy’s career include:

Nidan 1992 with T. Mano President of Wado Kai.
The same year Andy fought an exhibition match with Koi Hayashi the All Japan Champion, and beat him.
Andy received a promotion to Nidan from Tatsuo Suzuki 8th Dan Hanshi in 1993
Youngest Grand Champion of the Colorado state championships in 1992
1994 Bronze Medalist at the Pan American Championships in Curacao of the Dutch Antilles
1995 Voted outstanding fighter at the Japanese All Star Competition in Iwakuni, Japan
1996 Silver Medalist in Koshiki Championships, full contact karate
1997 WIKF World Championships quarter finalist
2000 Finalist Utah Open 3oth Anniversary Tournament, Team Captain, 2nd place Team
2001 Silver Medalist World Championships Dominican Republic
2008 Silver Medalist Team Kumite, Ozawa Cup

Andy also has his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and has taught karate for more than ten years
